The End of a Banking Era?

It now appears that Switzerland, Austria, Lichtenstein, Andorra, and Luxembourg will be relaxing their banking secrecy laws.

I'm not sure how much of this is a recognition of how much the wind has changed on this issue, or a recognition that with a few thousand accounts on a thumb drive, a clerk could, and a clerk already has.

In either case, I hope that in the future, the big people will pay taxes too.
