No, Johnny Carson is still dead, though it appears that dotard Donald Trump is not aware of this, seeing as how he wants Carson, who has been dead for almost 20 years, to replace Jimmy Kimmel on the Jimmy Kimmel Live!

So, he wants a dead man to replace a late night host, and he got the show wrong.  Carson was the host of The Tonight Show, currently hosted by Jimmy Fallon, and this is on a completely different network.

For all the talk about Joe Biden's neurological state, it's pretty clear that something is very wrong with Trump's brain, and it has gotten a lot worse recently:

Donald Trump is still sore at late night host Jimmy Kimmel for making him the laughingstock of the 2024 Academy Awards ("Isn't it past your jail time?") back in March. So much so that he thinks Johnny Carson should take over the show and make late night great again.

Trump told his worshipers at a Pennsylvania rally that the jokes Kimmel and Colbert tell aren't funny. "It's supposed to be comedy," he rued. "It's hatred."

"Where's Johnny Carson?" a dazed Trump queried the crowd. "Bring back Johnny."

No one in the bleachers had the heart to tell their leader — who is starting to look and behave like the embunkered Hitler in Downfall — that Carson retired from the show in 1992 and died in 2005. Or it just could be that his followers believe Trump has the power to raise Carson from the dead and put him back at his desk to interview fresh young talent like Angie Dickinson and Joey Bishop.

Even before the cognitive decline, Donald Trump was not right in the head.  This is not a surprise, he was the child of an abusive alcoholic father.

But his brain is beginning to resemble a slice of Swiss Cheese, or perhaps Stinking Bishop.

So, We Just Learned Something About the Abortion Nut Who Got Shot

I posted about it when James L. Pouillon got killed, and it now appears that his family speaks, at least his son, James L. Pouillon, and it ain't pretty:

It will be impossible for some to believe, but my dad really didn't care about aborton.

He did this to stalk, harass, terrorize, scream at, threaten, frighten, and verbally abuse women. He had a pathologic hatred of women: his mom, my mom, everyone.

After my mom finally left him and he lost his favorite punching bag the violence and abuse that was always contained within our 4 walls was unleased on the people of Owosso.

My dad used the pro-life movement and 1st Amendments foundations to defend him, support him, and enable him. He fooled them all.

He was at the high shool because my niece was there, and female family members were always his favorite targets.

Again, my dad didn't care about abortion. He wanted to hurt people, upset people. He enjoyed making people suffer.

His goal was to be shot on a sidewalk. His goal was to make someone so angry, to make them feel so terrorized, to make them feel the only way they could make him stop was to kill him.

His pro-life stance was the most perfect crime I personally know of. He hid behind the 1st Amendment and was allowed to stalk, terrorise, harass, be obsene, ect. These things are crimes. Offending people isn't a crime, and having different political views isn't a crime, but he committed several crimes over the last 20 years and got away with it.

Yes I really am his oldest son. Owosso is now rid of a mad man.

One wonders if he is the exception rather than the rule for right wing extremists.

Good Legislation: Ban on Child Gulags

Dogemperor at Kos notes that HR 6358 has passed the House, and so will be on its way to the Senate.

This bill would regulate the completely unregulated world of teen "residential treatment facilities". Among its features:

• Requires ongoing monitoring of facilities
  
• Establishes national database of reports of abuse
  
• Requires regular reports to the Secretary of HHS
• Appropriates $15,000,000 for this effort
• Agrant program as a lever to get states to supervise these facilities
  
• Requires formal followup peer-review studies
  
• Background checks on people working at these facilities.
• Requiring training on child abuse, neglect, and dangerous conditions such as hypothermia and heat stroke for employees
  
• Keeping kids incommunicado is forbidden.

Unfortunately, offshoring facilities to avoid supervision is still allowed in this bill though.

Bush is may veto this, as he has his done his level best to make sure that faith based social services group are given a complete free ride, and the worst, and most unregulated, groups are religiously based ones like "Teen Challenge".

It appears that my kids were overly rambunctious, and they decided that they must be some sort of evil robots, and started talking like the Daleks of Dr. Who fame.

I was downstairs for this bit, but when I came upstairs, and my wife was speaking to the kids like a Dalek, saying, "Destroy, destroy, destroy!!!"

I told her that it was completely wrong, that they didn't say "Destroy", they say "Exterminate," and then I put my arm in front of my face to resemble the Dalek protrusion, and said:

Michelle Malkin, Are Her Children in Danger?

She has two children, and we've already had instances of what can only be called deranged behavior, such as her stalking of the Graeme Frost family.

Well, now she is saying that she is claiming that John McCain is an agent of George Soros. (H/T Whisky Fire for the catch)

I read Whiskey Fire, and I was amused, and then I read her article, and I was frightened.

Not of George Soros, as was her intent, and not of her wit or intellect, which honestly does not impress me.

I was frightened that in a few years, she would snap, and we would see another one of those stories where the police break down the door, and find that she has drowned her children in the bathtub.

It's probably not fair, after all, my writing is not indicative of sanity, but I just get this sense that we're going to read this story in the paper.

I'm sorry, but going to CPS based on my gut, no matter how ample, is just wrong, particularly considering how often my predictions are wrong.
