I was at Trial by Fire, an SCA event where you compete cooking medieval recipes under camping conditions.
I did two recipes, Farts of Portingale (As Anna Russel would say, "I'm not making this up, you know."), and Tuscan Rice.
I'm tired, so no blogging beyond this.
I did OK, but in the future, I need to bring the f%$#ing rice when I plan to cook a f%$#ing rice dish.
