The New York Times has an obituary for bell hooks, a preeminent scholar in race, feminism, and their intersection.
The headline on teh article right reads, "The Wide-Angle Vision, and Legacy, of bell hooks" which is a good, if somewhat anodyne, headline, but if you look at the title of the web page, which is almost certainly the original title of the article, it reads:
How the Black Scholar bell hooks Touched Feminists Everywhere
Which seems to be to be rather ……… Unfortunate ……… phrasing.
I'm pretty sure that a copy editor somewhere is hoping that no one noticed the original hed.

I'm a feminist. Belle Hooks never touched me anywhere, and I'm feeling kind of left out.
What am I, chopped liver?!
