I am referring, of course, to Nancy Pelosi, has done a lot to foment the culture of corruption on Capitol Hill.
It's not that she breaks the law, she meticulously avoids that, but she aggressively supports a state of affairs where what is legal is the real scandal, as is evidenced by her statement opposingn a law banning individual stock trades by members of Congress and their staff, "We're a free-market economy. They should be able to participate in that."
This embrace of corruption is profoundly disturbing, to put it mildly.
