Wicked Stupid

The Coast Guard had an exercise which apparently included simulated fire on the Potomac river in Washington, DC (not blanks).

No announcement to the press, who heard the chatter on the emergency bands, "10 Rounds have been expended," and the press, along with operations centers in the area, who also had not been informed, freaked out.

On 911....What the hell were they thinking.
