Paul Krugman catches this measure of income inequality.
The top 0.01%, or the richest 1/10000, now earn more than 6% of of all wages, a higher percentage than we had at the peak of the guided age.
These wages come from somewhere, and they come from the rest of us, but trying to fix this is beyone the political pale, because we are not citizens, we are serfs.
