Airbus Claims First Use of Electron Brakes On Large Commercial Aircraft
Electronic brakes are powered by electric power, electronic brakes are hydraulic brakes with electrical controls, and Airbus has tested the former successfully.
Given that Boeing is going more "all electric" with the 787, I'm surprised that Airbus was first, but in any case, this is the future for aircraft, and eventually, probably for cars.
