I do not believe that there is anything resembling a deal to end the Gaza War.
Hamas promises to rel;ease all of the hostages, including the dead ones, and Netanyahu promises to stop bombing, "real soon."
This is not going to happen. Hamas will not assent to being disarmed, which is a part of the proposal, and Netanyahu (×™ִמַּ×— שְׁמו) will never end the war, because it would mean that he would be turfed out of office and thrown in jail for corruption. (He is guilty as hell)
I do not share the optimism of a n OP/ED writer at Haaretx, "How Trump Humiliated Netanyahu, Rewarded Qatar and Quashed the Messianic Right's Fantasies."
The war should end.
The war must end.
Unfortunately the two entities who have the most effect on this, Benjaman Netanyahu (×™ִמַּ×— שְׁמו) and Hamas see no benefit in ending the war.
Color me a pessimist.
