I’m Not as Thunk as You Drink

It's Simchat Torah, which celebrates the fact that we have gotten to the end of the Torah, going back to Genesis (בְּרֵאשִׁית) from Deuteronomy. (דְּבָרִים‎)

We read the Torah at night for the only time of the year, and celebrate and dance with Torahs.

It is frequently associated with the consumption of significant quantities of C2H5OH.

It is arguably the most joyous and raucous celebration of a rerun this side of a Star Trek convention.
