Noah Feldman is a F$#@ing Moron

As you may be aware, it appears that the Supreme Court is poised to overturn Biden's (already quite modest) student loan forgiveness program.

Noah Feldman things that this is a good thing, because it means that the conservatives on the Supreme Court will feel obligated to rein in executive branch authority when a Republican in the White House.

This is absurd.  The conservatives on the court never apply the standards equally.  They were all in on the "Unitary Executive" when Bush was in the White House, and flipped 180 degrees once Obama became President.

They are political hacks, and assuming that they have any integrity that can be appealed to is indication of a profound inability to address reality.

To quote James Downey from the movie Billy Madison, "At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul."

There is no upside.  The conservative justices are going to overrule this, despite black letter law making it legal, because it is a successful (if small) and popular program, and as such they see it as a potential danger to future Republican candidates.
