Liz Truss is literally the creation of a globe panning network of reactionary free-market fundamentalist lobbying groups (often masquerading as "Think" Tanks) who shepherded her throughout her career.
She's not a Tory politician, she is an artificial life form grown in a petri dish by these folks.
This also explains why she was a failure, free market fundamentalism always founders against the rocks or reality.
Even in Chile, where Milton Friedman's Chicago boys has a fascist totalitarian state in place to prevent abuses, had to backtrack in less than a year because of rampant looting.
