Initial unemployment claims fell slightly to 232,000, with the 4-week average falling as well, and continuing claims rose by 30,000 to 1.44 million.

I'm really not too sure what is going on here, but with tens millions out of the labor market either for long Covid or because of lack of childcare, this does not seem as good as it sounds.
