Headline of the Day

Voters Don't Believe You Stand for Things Until You Actually Do Them
Washington Monthly

This is truer than taxes.

It's why centrism is such a losing proposition for the Democrats.

To quote one wag on twitter, "Just got back from the centrist rally. Amazing turnout. Thousands of people holding hands and chanting “Better things aren't possible."

It is not an inspiring message, and it is why even Joe Biden's weak tea measures achieved over the summer has resulted in a significant boost for him in the polls.

The fact that, unlike during his Democratic Party predecessors, he's delivering something other than empty platitudes while "Foaming the runway," for the malefactors of wealth who created the problems in the first place..

It's good policy and good politics.
