The Interview
An Uber insider, revealed to be Uber's former Head of Public Policy for Europe, Middle East & Africa Mark MacGann, has leaked a cache of documents revealing the misdeeds and corruption of Uber as it moved into Europe.
Among other things, the documents reveal that an extensive campaign of influence peddling, (which included then economy minister Emmanuel Macron) fomenting violence AGAINST their own drivers to create good will toward the firm, open admissions of the illegality of their behavior, hiring of lobbyists who were clearly going to bribe officials, and aggressively obstructing police investigations.
Why they have not been targeted with RICO prosecutions and asset forfeiture is beyond me.
