In calling for an investigation, Chief Justice Roberts has confirmed the authenticity of the 1st draft of Alito's opinion overturning Roe v. Wade.
He has noted that, "It does not represent a decision by the Court or the final position of any member on the issues in the case," but that sounds like a distinction without a difference.
