The Baltimore City Police Department's chief of fiscal services has been fired after 9 days on the job, and is a "person of interest" in a murder investigation. It appears that he had a gun possession charge that the background check missed.
A relative claims that this was resolved, and his record was expunged.
I have no clue about the whole, person of interest in a murder investigation thing, though.
I think that someone seriously f%$#ed up here.
It ain't Spiro Agnew getting kick-backs in the White House bad, but it does not look good, even by the standards of Maryland governance.
