Spiroid Wingtip Anyone Heard of Them?
It appears that Aviation Partners is claiming that they are the neatest thing since sliced bread, claiming something on the order of a 10% reduction of drag at cruise.
Truth be told, it looks kind of heavy and it will increase wetted area, and hence skin drag, but you can't trust your eyes on such things.
