Maoists Look to Win Nepalese Elections
As it stands now, it looks like the Maoists will have an absolute majority in Parliament.
My guess is that this was driven by an anti-monarchy sentiment, and I would not think that they have support for actually implementing a Maoist state, which their neighbors, particularly China, would be less than enthused about.
