Reid Files For Another Surveillance Law Extension
Reid wants the extension to have the time to properly craft a bill, and Bush is saying that he does not want an extension, because he does not want a bill to protect basic American rights.
Additionally, it looks a rush to a bill would have the effect of making it difficult to impossible for Bush's illegal electronic surveillance, which predates 911.
