It appears that some Edwards supporters at a Clinton rally refused to shake her hand.

That's just being a jerk.

I have had a handshake refused, some Orthodox Jewish women don't shake hands because they consider it "immodest", and I wasn't offended, and the refusal to me was not intended to be offensive.

This was intended to be offensive, and the unnamed Edwards supporter was a turd.
