Supercavitating Special Forces Transport

It appears that Special forces command has got DARPA looking at very high speed insertion of special forces personnel.

By fast, we mean more than 100 knots, using a supercavitating technology.

I see two problems:

• This would necessarily be VERY noisy.


• "Center Punching a Whale at 100 kts" as the author of this post put it.

Actually, at those speeds, I'd be worried about a halibut.
