Japan Scraps iPod Tax

Japan has scrapped legislation that would tax MP3 players, and give the proceeds to the music industry.

Note that they do have taxes on things like DVD burners, but ann MP3 player is different, because it does not copy music, it just plays music.

It's a bad law, and it's a good thing that it's off the table for the moment.
