Finally, A Use for RFID Technology
It appears that there has been a spate of fraudulently labeled whiskey in Korea. The solution is to place RFID on premium bottles of booze that can be quizzed by mobile phone handsets.
Neat trick, but considering the fact that RFID chips cost about $0.15, with prices dropping, it should not be too tough for the bootleggers to copy them too.
