The Republicans had another go at impeaching Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, and this time, they succeeded, by one vote, 214-213.
It's dead in the Senate, so this and $15.89 will get you a Starbucks venti pumpkin spice latte with eight shots of espresso, seven pumps of pumpkin sauce, and one pump of maple pecan sauce.
If they had waited a few days they would not have had the votes, because Democrat Tom Suozzi just won the special election to replace George Santos comfortably. (It looks to be an 8% margin over Republican Mazi Pilip right now)
The Republican margin is down to 2 in the house now.
