And Europe Goes Even More Pear Shaped

In both Bulgaria and Moldova have elected pro-Russian Presidents.

In the case of Bulgaria, this has brought down the current Prime Minister, and as Bulgaria is an EU member, (and has a pro Russian history) it makes the extension of sanctions against Russia that much less likely.

Victoria Nuland's gift in the Ukraine just keeps on giving.

I thought you liked pro-Russian politicians.

Mind these are Presidents of Parliamentary Democracies.

I think that Putin is generally on the right side of the conflicts, and that the EU in general, and Germany in particular, is wrong about everything.

The fact that the Europe, particularly the EU is going pear shaped I see as a good thing, as it upsets the current, highly corrupt order, but it involves going pear shaped.
